The Regional Coordinating Unit of the Caribbean HIV/AIDS Regional Training Network (CHART RCU), a division of UWI HARP, will hold its Strategic Planning workshop on January 30 & 31, 2006 at the Courtleigh Hotel in Jamaica.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

  • To develop a CHART Regional Strategic Plan by articulating and building consensus among partners/stakeholders about the mission, and objectives of chart. This includes prioritizing objectives as well as defining the niches, and responsibilities of the RCU and National Training Centers (NTCs)
  • To review the results of the CHART programme to date and assess its alignment to the current national and regional realities as well as future national and regional projections ; and to identify resource requirements and potential funding sources to ensure sustainability .
  • To agree on the processes for accountability through consensus on the governance of the network
  • To identify pre-requisites for participation in the CHART Network at all levels.
