Learn about the significance of the UWI HARP logo

The UWI HARP logo:

1. The Harp symbolizes the voice of UWI HARP which is an institution placed to educate the UWI population about the HIV/AIDS epidemic on each campus

2.  The Strings: represent the three (3) campuses, Blue for St. Augustine Trinidad, Red for Mona Jamaica, Yellow for Cave Hill, Barbados.

3.  The Ribbon is already known globally as the symbol for compassion towards people living with HIV/AIDS. It was uniquely designed to give the impression of a person playing the Harp, to symbolize the spirit of UWI HARP.

4.  The Water Ripples - the water signifies what separates each of the campuses

5.  Reflection: Represents the spreading of knowledge on how to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS on the campuses
